Idk how veritable the metrics are, but DTM about heart's defensive measurements for forwards had Jooris as one of the best defensive forwards in the NHL. I loved the signing when it happened, and I love that he's cost controlled. The guy is a fantastic 4th liner.

How much have you seen Jooris play, though? Sounds like you're jumping the gun just a wee bit here. The guy has yet to play a game in a Rangers uniform and didn't exactly light it up with Calgary last year. What about Lindberg? Lindberg could easily be the next Dom Moore....except better.

This is pretty accurate to what you will see opening night. Lindberg will be on LTIR with Grabner in his "spot" and Jooris will be in the AHL until Buch is sent down for seasoning because (Jooris) has a two way deal. Then the fun begins.

once again guys, we clarify this every week,
2 way has nothing to do with whether you can go down,
just that you make less $$ in the minors

Jooris would require waivers to go to AHL, and would be unlikely to clear,
an inexpensive, reliable, young(ish) righty 4th line center, with some O in his game,
that is an asset many teams would want
