there is no way semin is that low, i say semin is second or third in that list, and backstrom is higher too because he has alot of experince in a leauge with players older then him, and semin has NHL experince unlike the other players

Based on points potential Backstrom should be lower because he is a better all around player than most of these guys but if its just based on points potential he should be lower. Semin should be higher.

realistically they all have the potential to be the No. 1 its a matter of who adjusts to the NHL better and or who gets the better breaks... the one exception i feel is Grigorenko... unless he returns to pre accident form.... and my gut feeling he will be 90% of of the player he was which still isnt bad.

Vanek already has more goals then everyone on the list combined and he was a rookie. He'll score 30 atleast this season, probably 35+.

Ok Wolski goes from a forgotten prospect to the top of the charts after a few good months.

Bobby Ryan averages almost 3 ppg before the new year and he doesn't get nearly the same amount of jocking.

I realize Wolski won some awards and did it at the end of the year, but still same premise. each had a few good months, but one is clearly more jocked than the other.

There was good thread about it and Ryan's bad finish at NOOF. Try there if it's not deleted or replaced.

Why are guys so wet over Semin?? He's so overrated it's comical. Same goes for that fat slug Bobby Ryan.

Backstrom is easily the best player out of the lot.
