Not sure, but I'd rank Loui Eriksson pretty high (top 4).

Tough list to cal for sure...but I'd have Patrick O'Sullivan nearer to the top...not just because of his performance in the WJC final game...I've had a feelin about this guy for a while...I just think he's gonna perservere against the odds & all the obstacles he's had in his personal life...Look out for this guy!!!

Koivu(bust)-i've read many bad reports on this guy. Sorry Min fans, but what do I know really, its just a feeling.

If i had to take 1 player off that list...

Patrick o'sullivan. He has thoroughly impressed me. As for the rest i havent seen as much.

If you are going for a home-run youd take O'sullivan. He will either be a top line player or carrer minor leaguer.

Saprykin #1? You on glue?
Not at all. Unlike many, I realize how difficult it is to play in the NHL never mind produce, which is what Saprykin is doing.I kinda like guys who have proven they can play a bit in the NHL.
I dare say half the guys on that list wont ever even do what Saprykin is doing right now, never mind the future.

Then how do you explain rating PMB lower than Saprykin?

He is producing more and he is 4 years younger.

Going by your logic, PMB should be #1.

Thats unbelievable how quickly you responded to that. I just turned on HF.
In any event, I lstruggled with who to put ahead of who (PM or Saprykin). I just like Saprykins game a little better, but it was close ( & btw its less than 3 years, not 4).

One could ask the same of you. I would suggest that having him at the bottom of the list is far more of a travesty then putting him at the top. I mean the guy is finally starting to develop into an NHLer, he's been playing on the first line for one of the more demanding coaches in the league and you have the balls to rank completely unproven guys like Eaves and Dawes ahead of him (not as highly ranked in their draft years as Sappy was in his).

Seriously, you must not have watched much of him lately. Obviously you underrate him, try catching some games of his in the next few months and I think you'll change your mind. IMO he has first line potential and has more upside than Kobasew. If we can keep Iginla there's a good chance those two will pair up as our top line wingers for next few years. He probably has the most pure skill out of anybody on the Flames when you combine his stickhandling, shot and passing abilities (and I'm not the only one who believes that Roger Millions article on Saprykin )

The poster probably isn't on glue but they appear to have a better read on Saprykin than you do. I think that anybody who ranks him at the bottom of a list like this obviously does not have a clue about him, his game, and his development this season.
