Jackman is a RW, something the Jackets lack of within the organization. He also has some size and a decent skill package. If there is a season, he'll get a long look for the fourth line RW spot and I can see his potential being a 30-45 point third liner. I don't think he has the raw skills the other players on this list do.

i thought balej looked just fine...saw every game he played in. it's not like he jumped in and was amazingly fantastic or anything but he showed a lot of jump, a lot of drive to make things happen, and NHL level decision making around the net as well.

he's a definate for the rangers second line next year unless he really blows up in training camp or something (assuming there is one). i wouldn't expect amazing numbers but with some luck he could be in the running for the calder...i think 10-15 goals and 20-30 assists would be more likely though and he'll improve on that the year after. also could depend on how much PP time he gets...if he gets PP time we could see more points.

his defense needs a little work but so does the defense of most rookies, especially scorers

Wow.

Do you people realize that Pominville was the AHL Playoff leading scorer last year up until Milwaukee and WB played more games?

Do you know that he was the AHL's 4th leading goal scorer? And if you take out career AHLer Jeff Hamilton and let Pominville play as many games as Rosa and Zalesak he would have been the AHL's leading Goal Scorer by a considerable margain?

He had the most PPG in the AHL, if you take out career AHlers Jeff Hamilton and Steve Maltias, he had NINE more PPG than Miroslav Zalesak who played six more games than Pominville.

EDIT: Did I mention Pominville is 2 1/2 years younger than Zalesak?

My thinking is Svatos is clearly the best as of now with the guys in slots 2-4 being arguably interchangeable.

That's my list, but really a lot of them are interchangable at this point. Especially 5-8.

I feel Suglobov is going to be great as is Pominville, seriously Buffalo needs to trade him to the NYR so we can play him. He is my favorite AHL player, living in Rochester I get to see him a lot. The kid is amazing. If Buffalo never gives him a chance I will be so pissed off.

Balej and Svatos are going to be good/decent NHL players, with scoring touches and dazzling stick handling. I'd say Jackman will be a staple NHLer on the bottom lines, he is likely the safest prospect in that bunch.

Anyway.... thats the list heh
