Not sure about you guys, but I am appalled at the thought of an expansion team having this much success upon birth.
I remember the California Golden Seals, Flyers, Pens, Kansas City Scouts and Washington Capitals barely got 8 wins in their first years of existence, let alone 8 wins in their first month like the Knights already have. Shouldn't happen, eff this system.

Looks like the starting lineup tonight:
Chris Kreider-Mika Zibanejad-Pavel Buchnevich
Rick Nash-Kevin Hayes-Zuccarello
Jimmy Vesey-David Desharnais-JT Miller
Michael Grabner - Bo Nieves - Jesper Fast

Ryan McDonagh - Brendan Smith
Marc Staal - Kevin Shattenkirk
Brady Skjei - Steven Kampfer

Henrik Lundquist

I would like to see 5 games of this - before we make trades:
  • Waive and send down Carey to Hartford
  • Recall the 18 year old Wunderkid and ADA
Chris Kreider-Mika Zibanejad-Pavel Buchnevich
Rick Nash - Filip Chytil - Mats Zuccarello
JT Miller - Kevin Hayes - Jesper Fast
Michael Grabner - Bo Nieves - Jimmy Vesey
David Desharnais

Ryan McDonagh - Kevin Shattenkirk
Brady Skjei - Brendan Smith
Marc Staal - Anthony DeAngelo
Steven Kampfer, Nick Holden

Henrik Lundquist
Ondrej Pavelec

We never gave this - IMO on paper optimal lineup - a chance since the fateful night in Toronto.
Our top guns Lundquist, Shattenkirk and Nash need to play as their pay. Rest also applies for the lesser pieces, but these three players are most instrumental to fail or success. And...

Just Fire AV!

There’s honestly no f***ing excuse to lose against an expansion team playing on an East coast trip back-to-back with it’s 4th string goalie.

Rongos better not rongo.

Its somewhat tempting to say "just watch us", but yeah, hopefully we'll win this one :)

We don't need 8 d-men. If we're not going to give DeAngelo regular minutes there is no point bringing him up. His first three games in Hartford don't appear to have been that great either. I'd wait on that though I think sooner or later we're going to have to trade Holden anyway whether we right the ship or not. I'd rather keep Chytil away from the shit show for now too. Giving him first line minutes and plenty of power play time in Hartford isn't a bad thing. He's not likely to get that with the NHL team.

If I were a betting man I'd put my money on Vegas tonight.

Is it wrong to hope for a loss?

Vegas is bringing up a 4th string goalie, therefore, I believe we can get the W. They're bringing up Dylan Ferguson, 19 years old, about 4 GAA this year so far. Not too settling with Hank's 3.11 GAA, but with him in net I have a little faith, but you honestly never know with this team.

Quite honestly, I don't expect a win here. They lost yesterday, so they'll be hungry to get a win. Not only that, seeing as their 4th string netminder gets the call tonight, my guess is that they'll tighten things up around him. 4-2.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll awaken to news of AV's departure from this team.

First career shutout incoming? Also, who on Vegas has yet to score an NHL goal? Maybe their goalie will do both?

I hope for a good Rangers game - no excuses against a back to back game team who struggled vs Islanders last night.

Before the fact that their 4th goalie was starting, I was pretty confident we'd roll these guys tonight..

Now its a clown goalie coming into MSG for his debut. Shutout.

4th string goalie. we get shutout. its a given.

steven f***ing kampfer . really ?

when you've got what like 16 million tied up in an average aging goalie who "has to think better" and an albatross cream puff delivery man, you arent going to be good. we arent.

What's the over/under as far as how long before vegas scores. I Bet they score in the first 2 min.

Score 5 goals. We are playing against their 4th string goalie who has never played in the NHL, and he's sucked in the minor leagues. Wouldn't get a call up if they didn't have these injuries. Their back up is a kid in Junior who's not even playing that well.

If we can't beat Vegas, the whole team needs to be sacked.
