Bull****. First, I didn't say the 9th OA. But even if I did, it wouldn't be crazy. Look at the history of draft picks in the 8-10 spot. There are as many misses as hits. Two middle six centers for a first line, 27 year old center signed for five years. And Buffalo's adding cap? Yeah, Something decent is getting added.
Who are the two middle six centers? Kreider is not even a Center and none of them is middle six. They are both definately top6 Players,
And you wrote sth like "pick + Kreider + Zibs for ROR" and that this would mean the two late picks would then be for Dahlin. So the pick you mentioned in the Kreider/Zibs/ROR proposal has to be the 9th.
Maybe you should think twice before calling other posts bull****

Dahlin would have to be the Michael Jordan of hockey to help the Rangers after stripping them of all those assets.
Not saying he isn't worth that but not sure that's how you wanna rebuild a hockey team (Trading 5 assets including 2 very good nhl players for one player)

Kreider, Zibanejad, and a first might put you in contention for O'Reilly, adding the 26th and 28th doesn't get you Dahlin.
Wait Zibanejad, Kreider and the first rounder might put you in contention for ROR?

Sabres fans are really cocky and arrogant it seems. Tell me what exactly has your franchise accomplished? Every star player you get or draft can’t wait to leave.

You do realize that you’re coming off as a real ass in this thread, right? It’s one thing to make a horrible proposal that shows no semblance of hockey sense, it’s quite another to then act like an immature punk on top of it.

Not even close. As Zemgus said above, take out ROR and you are still not close.

But Dahlin isn't being traded. It would take a Lindros type package to get Buffalo to listen (IMO)
This is exactly correct- a Lindros type package.

It’ll require Kreider, Zibanejad, 3 1sts this year, probably 1st next year, along with Lindgren and maybe Andersson

Curious about what other fans think of this proposal

From NY Rangers
Kreider
Zibanejad
All 3 firsts this year (9,26,28)

From Buffalo Sabres
Ryan O’Reilly
This years #1 pick

Does not matter what package you put together Buffalos first this year is going NOWHERE.

I wouldn't give up Kreider, Zibanejad and a 1st for O'Reilly. That's AWFUL for the Rangers. That might put them in contention??? Right.

Stepan is a very similar player to O'Reilly and he got traded for less than that. The Rangers wouldn't deal for a player like O'Reilly anyway after moving Stepan.
