WHO IS A PROSPECT:

SKATER PROSPECT: A player 24 or younger with 50 or fewer NHL games.

GOALIE PROSPECT: A player 25 or younger with 25 or fewer NHL games.

EXCEPTION 1: If a player completed the required 50/25 games, but is still not regarded as an NHL regular because he's shuffling between the NHL and the AHL, he could still be a prospect as long as he's 24 or younger and if agreed upon by most people here.

EXCEPTION 2: A player who is no older than 25 years old at the time of the vote and is a borderline NHLer could still count if agreed upon by most people here.

Please vote on who to add to the next round of polling.

Close call here as several players have good, but questionable resumes. Ronning is on pace for 64 goals, but is an overager and overagers have a tendancy not to make it despite great seasons because they're older than 95%+ of the league they are in. Then again, look at Cally. Morgan is doing well as a second liner during his true freshman season, but it's just been half a season. Bereglazov is a KHL All Star, but just failed to make the Rangers. Huska is doing well on a team where the other goal is not finding it easy to goaltend, but goalies are always high risk and he's not exactly dominating college, at least not yet.

As much as I hate voting for overagers, let's hope Ronning is the next Callahan. Ronning here.

Add Fontaine. He's doing well in Hartford, despite unspectacular stats.

Sean Day, add Patrik Virta who's doing very well in Liiga. 28 points in 40 games, 20 of which are at ES and a 57.5% Corsi which is 2nd on his team.
