If there was only one position on this team we were supposed to be set at, it was in goal. You can now officially say we have a goaltending problem. Sorokin is an abysmal goaltender. You could argue all 3 goals should have been stopped tonight, certainly two at least. He has been average to below average all season. Carolina scored 3 goals on him on 14 shots and 4 scoring chances. That is not even NHL level let alone 8 million salary/Vezina level. And the idea that we havent even started an 8 year extension on this guy yet might be the scariest contract situation we have on this team...and that is saying something.
