Ok say next year replacements are brought in to play a season,.
and slowly but surely, NHL players are trickling over the line
to play in the league.

In terms of "Unions" .. do players who cross the line, are they automatically
thrown out of the union after the lockout is over?

I've heard rumors if players break the lines, its an automatic breach of
contract with the PA and they will never be allowed back in .

tell me if this is wrong, or whatever.. thanks though.

That's how it worked with the NFL. All those players who crossed the line and played have never been allowed to join the union and therefore have never played another NFL game.

after the 1994 strike when they tried to use replacement players, any player who got to the majors wasn't part of the players association. Here is an article about it.

do you think that will make alot of players think twice?

or do you think so many good players will cross it will render the
PA virtually powerless.

It wont happen.
This misguided notion that the NHLPA is crumbling at its foundation is baseless hearsay and nothing more.

Joe Montana crossed, so are you telling me that Montana never played in the NFL after 1987?

This is the second time you have posted this today and you're still wrong.

Of course, the "highly principled association" still take dues from these players of course. :shakehead
