As a Norwegian, I am so happy I will miss this as I will be at work. Norway has been very lucky to get this far. I almost always expect Russia to fall apart in tournaments nowadays, but that will not happen against Norway.

Good luck and god speed Norway. The most memorable for us norwegians in this game will probably be a borderline hit from Tommy Kristiansen or Lars Haugen posting an incredible performance in net while still losing 7-1.

Not that Norway deserve any better (arguably they didn't deserve to even go this far), but would have been interesting seeing them against the US or something in a QF. Would still lose 99 out of 100 or something, but not 100 out of 100 like against Russia.

+1

We always struggle vs technical teams who think the game much faster. Come to think of it, we usually struggle vs any team :D

Moscow, Russia
Well, it was easy. Gusev with 3 points. Norwegians tried, but their skill level was 1 or 2 tiers below. Not a lot of emotions from the game.

Seriously, as a Russian, it's hard to care about these Olympics. The level of play is soooo low. The other day I watched Edmonton vs Colorado and they looked like professionals compared to this year's amateurish Olympic athletes.

Update the title of the thread with the result

Actually I don't like that way of doing it. It makes it impossible to watch games as a rerun/ recording while trying to read the gamethread as entertainment. Spoiling 100 %. I know, sometimes you will get spoiled, but I occascionally actually try to do that. Not here, so that's not the issue.

Did you guys see the puck hit inside the Norwegian goal once, I assume it hit the camera, and no-one noticed? Play just went on. A goal never noticed. As expected, it was enough of the Russian goals who did get noticed, but weird.
