Nice change. I assume it has to do with proper translation but is there a reason they couldn't have kept the current (recently updated) logo and simply have the M now stand for Maritimes instead of major?

Good move imo, eastern hockey league would have been kinda boring.

Been advocating this for decades. Have been fortunate to take in many a Mooseheads game since their 1994-95 inaugural season. The success of the team forged a path for a division. There was a rash of Quebec-based teams folding, moving, or both. The Maritime division has been a pillar for the league for years and and should be recognized as part of the name of the league.

Thanks. I misunderstood and thought they were replacing the existing logo. This makes more sense.
