Here are my predictions based on which Pick I think each player will go...just a rough estimation as its easier to put a number down rather than say "early 1st rd" etc. These are where I think the players will go in the draft, not how I would personally rank them though.

1. Jakub Voracek, Halifax, W - 1st round - 2nd overall
2. Angelo Esposito, Quebec, C - 1st round - 10th overall
3. David Perron, Lewiston, W - 1st round - 20th overall
4. Logan MacMillan, Halifax, W - 1st round - 28th overall
5. Olivier Fortier, Rimouski, C - 2nd round - 47th overall
6. Kevin Marshall, Lewiston, D - 2nd round - 55th overall
7. Ruslan Bashkirov, Quebec, W - 3rd round - 68th overall
8. TJ Brennan, St-John's, D - 3rd round - 75th overall
9. Kevin Veilleux, Victoriaville, C - 3rd round - 86th overall
10. Maxime Gratchev, Rimouski, W - 3rd round - 89th overall
11. Alex Grant, Saint John, D - 4th round - 99th overall
12. David Stich, Saint John, D - 4th round - 115th overall
13. Antoine Lafleur, PEI, G - 5th round - 123rd overall

Hey Lala, any chance you think a team takes a 7th round risk pick on Cusack from Lewiston?

voracek is amazing and hes the only reason logan macmillan is ranked so highly... it will be a mistake taking macmillan anywhere close to the first round

david perron is also really good and you can catch him playing in the mem cup this week.. id say he goes around 20th overall maybe even higher

Christopher Didomenico... i havent seen him play but his stats are pretty good on a terrible team.. anyone have more info on this guy?

Disagree on MacMillan...he was better than Voracek for a few games in the playoffs. He is air-tight, he is good at everything and plays a mature game.

Last year, i figured hed be a late 1st rd pick and that was before Voracek showed up.

nagy, tanguay, juncina, picard being the only decent ones and i don't think nagy was even drafted out of halifax

Marc Chouinard, Pascal Leclaire, Jason King, Brandon Reid, Ramzi Abid, Jody Shelley, Joey DiPenta...

Sure not all are all-stars or even still in the league but the franchise has only been around for 12 years.

PS: You missed Giguere as a pretty good one ;)

Can I get your opinions on some current Mooseheads,

Logan MacMillan- would you draft him in the 20's? or do you see him going in the 30's. He seems to have good hands, what sort of player do you project him to be?

How about some of older players, do you see any of these guys being effective at the AHL level next season or two. Colby Pridham, Luciano Lomanno, Garrett Peters, Jiri Suchy, and Ben Chaisson.

Do you think Steven Lund will get drafted, how has his season gone?

And how about these 2 younger guys, Gabriel O'Connor and Eric Louis-Seize, do you see them having a big impact with the Mooseheads in the future?

Thanks

Id take MacMillan in the late 20's...i think he has a shot at 25th-30th...but i likely see him going very early 2nd round. He is kind of like Rob Brind'Amour...he does everything well. He wont be a bit scorer though in the NHL, more like a 55-60 point centre.

Pridham will be on the Mooseheads as a 20 year old, likely playing with MacMillan and Voracek. I believe Lomanno is going to school, Peters is still eligible to come back as a 20 but i dont think he makes the team. Chiasson was traded to St-John's back in January, he left the team in February. Suchy will be on the Mooseheads next year, unless they trade him, which im thinking will happen.

Lund wont be drafted...just not enough progress throughout the season.

O'Connor is a late 90, so he isnt even NHL eligible until 2009. I like him a lot. Very solid all-around dman. But he is rumoured to be going to Val-D'or in a Brad Marchand deal. Eric Louis-Seize, a late 89, is a good role player in junior. He is a good skater, good size and loves to hit.

you don't see MacMillan being a good one eh...I would have to say I think late 1st round for him...he is the type of character player a team needs, and he has skills at both ends of the rink as well. That being said...the Mooseheads have put together a decent crew of NHLers so far...Tanguay, Giguere, Nagy, DiPenta, Jurcina, Reid, King, Abid, Joey MacDonald (people forget he played there), Leclaire, Picard, Chouinard, Shelley, Ryan Flynn played some games in the NHL.

Since the Mooseheads came into the Q in 1994 they have put the most players in the NHL among any other Q team, save for Rimouski.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "put the most players in the NHL".

There are 17 players that have played for the Mooseheads and played at least 1 game in the NHL.
There are 18 players that have played for the Moncton Wildcats and played at least 1 game in the NHL, and Moncton has been around 1 year less.

Is he a tough player? Does he hit, fight, and mix it up? Also, would you say his skating is an asset or a detriment?

I obviously didn't do the research, i was estimating, and honestly im not that far off.

My point still remains, just because MacMillan is a Halifax Moosehead doesnt make him less attractive to NHL teams.

Wow..
I thought Brennan was projected to go ~30th overall.
Why the change all of the sudden, if there's anyone I'm gonna trust on these boards, it's you Lala.

He was ranked 30th by CSB...in my opinion thats way too high, but like I said, its just my opinion.

For example i wouldnt take Maxime Tanguay until round 6 or 7 and CSB has him projected as a 2nd round pick.
