Also re Svej chat from the last thread @Randy Butternubs -

Maybe conflating Medicine Hat being bad the season he was traded to Seattle?

Anyway, I looked up his production at Medicine Hat in D+1 with pick224 - his EV production actually went down from D. Which would have many reasons, but isn't good.

That doesn't seem right?

2019-2020 is his draft year as he was drafted in 2020. That season he was under a point per game. 20-21 he was at 1.1 pts/g. 21-22 (Medicine Hat only) he was at 1.25 pts/g. 21-22 with Seattle he was at 1.4 pts/g. Both teams combined in 21-22 he was at 1.33 pts/g.

Anyway, I voted for Murashov and Svejkovsky is a long shot. But Svejkovsky certainly has the skill -- he just needs to add some strength.

Maybe you're thinking of Poulin since his production went down? :sarcasm:

According to pick224.com, Svejkovsky records 35 EV points in 52 games in 2020 (D) and 10 EV points in 20 games in 21 (D+1). The difference in points per game comes from the fact that in 20, Svejkovsky has 3 points on the power play and in 21, he has 11 with a shortie on top.

I had no idea what pick224 was and thought you accidentally copied and pasted something in your post.

edit: Still, 20 games is significantly less than 52.

Understandable

Stats site for prospects. Some of the functionality is a little busted but it's pretty useful for the range it has and being able to compare guys, and dig into state of play. I don't think it contains anything much not on AHL, CHL, etc.etc. sites but its all in one place.

I still think he’s got very low upside. Like a Kuhnhackl NHL career is his best case scenario.

Which he probably doesn't get because they'll give the NHL time to the guys they think can be more, so he never gets the minutes to prove himself, so he's never treated as a safe thing to put in the bottom six because he never got the minutes...

... I feel like he probably is the player who can have that career right now if he gets the chance though.

Going Murashov purely based off the hype that @Randy Butternubs (?) have produced for him the last few months.

At this point, for me, it's literally throw a dart and see where it lands :D Could be anyone of the above listed names.
