I'm intrigued by Emil Järventie. He's produced in every league along the way.

6pts in 5 games (3g, 3a) in the WJC. Not too shabby.

Decided to go with Ty Glover as I don't think any of the non-AHL guys are sufficiently interesting to be ahead of those in there showing they've got a shot, and I think his numbers/age/athleticism are the most interesting

I considered Jarventie but generally when the NHL thinks a guy is 7th round material they're right, and I considered Plante but didn't like his D+1 stats at all.

He's still eligible this year right? Could potentially have two for Finland in Jarventie and Pieniniemi?

That number is his U18 WJC. If he'd got 6 points in 5 games in the U20 WJC in his draft year he'd have gone top 5. In the draft that is, not these rankings.

Jarventie is indeed eligible this year and I presume next year too. He's probably not going this year judging from Finland's early U20 rosters, as he went to the B tournament rather than the A tournament Pieniniemi went to. He could jump though, he was productive in the B tournament and is presumably close, but ideally for him he needs a strong domestic season and he's started in the U20s so not great. Honestly, Kalle Kangas might be closer to the U20 JWC than Jarventie right now.

Jarventie. Skating matters and his is good.

They’ll likely end up nothing but I like the two OHL guys and Glover next. I wouldn’t like to rank anyone after that but in the interest of a top 20, Plante and Ansons.

The rookie tourney is next weekend correct?
