Oh Gersich. What happened to the guy who was getting playoff ice last season.
Nothing happened to him, he's playing good in Hershey he's just had a hard time collecting points at the pro level so far. Part of that is because Hershey is the lowest scoring team in the AHL. Of all the 1st year AHL players Gersich is only 4 points off the lead(Pilon) and has 10 less games played. He should have been voted to the list already.

Voted for Beck again. He may not have the offensive upside as a Gersich but he's probably closest to being NHL ready. He can skate, hits everything, wins the battles in the corner, is Hershey's go to penalty killer, and has some decent hands offensively.

Gersich has been playing much better and at both ends of the ice. In the beginning of the year, he would give up on plays too quickly and the coaching staff has worked on that and he's showing more and more why he was thought highly of as we're seeing a more consistent effort and 200 foot game as well.

Voted Gersich, but I feel roughly this position on the list is appropriate. He has a lot to like in his game, but is still relatively fragile out there. He’s not strong enough on the puck to make me confident that he’s going to survive in the NHL as a legit top 9 forward. He make end up as more of a fringe waterbug/energy player.
