I chose Dallas simply because of our recent history against them. That doesn't necessarily mean they will trounce them, but if history is any indication, it should be their best bet.

I wouldn't feel as comfortable against the Avs. For whatever reason they don't seem to play as well against them as they should, especially in Colorado.

I really don't know. I guess I'm okay with any of those teams. The Jets SHOULD beat any of the three, but who knows. Strange things seem to happen in the playoffs.

Hard to say and it may just be what I think is happening but for some reason I remember us always having very close games against the Wild. This year so far has been...

4-3 W
2-1 W
7-2 W
4-1 L

vs Dallas we have..

5-2 W
5-3 W

Yup. Not only are they usually close games but are also snoozefests. For some reason they seem to be effective in shutting down our offense.

Even going back to last season we have..

3-1 L
4-2 L
6-5 L
5-4 W

We play very close but potentially high scoring games against them. With only one real big win with the 7-2 routing we did to them this season. In a 7 game series those game could be really really close. I'd rather Nashville draws them in the first round.

Great White North eh...
I like our chances with any of these teams. But if I had to pick one as the preferred match up, it would be Dallas. I think our depth is too much for any of these teams to handle.

I think we've handled Dallas pretty easy this year, and for some reason we match up well with them. Colorado is the scary team right now, because they have come from behind, and are on a hot streak--especially with McKinnon. Scary fast team !!!

Went with the Stars as I think that is the team we can most easily overwhelm with a healthy 4 lines. Though I do like the thought of a cross border series with the Wild with a ton of Jets fans finding their way into their building when we are on the road.

From what I can see, I want to face Minnesota. The best they have is Eric Staal and Ryan Suter, they could easily be worn out after two games which is an easy walk to the second round and meaning we get a rest for a bit, meaning we'll be more than ready for the second round.

Any team, When Jets line up is fully healthy I take them against anybody in a 7 game series. ( of course we get them to play 4 times at home :) )

going through the whole NHL, probably the Penguins is the one not 100% we can beat on a 7 game series.
Not because they have better line up all around but they have Crosby, Malkin and Kessel.

Voted Dallas. Jets are 3-0 & outscored them 14-6.

Jets are 3-1 against Minnesota, outscoring them 14-10

Jets are 2-2 against Colorado, but 2 games went to OT. Jets outscored them, 13-7.

More telling is the record for each club since the new year.

Minnesota 20-8-4. 44 points in 32 games. 110GF vs. 91GA.

Colorado 19-9-5. 43 points in 33 games. 103GF vs. 88GA

Winnipeg 19-8-4. 42 points in 31 games. 101GF-76GA

Dallas 16-11-5. 37 points in 32 games. 84GF-79GA

Would like Slashville to play Ducks in first rd let them slash each other silly. We take care of anyone we come up against and maybe Slashville will be happy to play a cleaner game next round.

Looking like it'll be Minne in the first round.

Should be an interesting match up. Jets are younger and faster. Minne older and more experienced.

Minne has a reputation of not going deep into the playoffs.

I really don't care who we play as long as Scheifele and Lowry are healthy. Since Stastny joined the team we have yet to see this team with our 4 healthy centers playing. With Lowry now moved to the 4the line yet his line can play against any top line in the league the Jets will be able to roll 4 lines and never worry about matchups at home or on the road. If we have 4 healthy C and our D our healthy I see no reason why the Jets can not only win the 1st round no matter who they play but the can win against Nash also.

I was hoping for the Ducks, but it seems that ship has sailed.
I'd probably take Dallas, given that Laine can light them up and we always have fun high scoring games even without Laine.
