In the 5th game of the Las Vegas vs Edmonton series there was both a 5-3 for Vegas and a 5 min for Edmonton , which PP would you prefer ? One is more likely to score the other you could score more than once

The goal rate at 5v3 is 3.27 times more than 5v4 which is greater than 2.5 times more ice time. Then you have an additional 3 minutes of 5 on 5 after to work with after. I guess it could depend on the game situation but in a vacuum 5 on 3 is better.

5-3 every day of the week and it's not hard to know why because it literally showed in the game.

Vegas scored on the 5-3 then scored at 5-4.
