Always been curious, but are there any Power Forward prospects in the next few drafts? Not just a big kid that scores, but a big kid that hits, is physically intimidating and also scores?

James Sheppard- from the QMJHJL does he count??

Michael forney i think could become a good PF perhaps

okposo isn't huge, but has PF mentality.

Chris Stewart - 225 lbs, can dominate physically and is 11th in scoring in the OHL(2nd only to Little for draft eligible players). He plays like his older brother but Chris is more consistent and has a better work ethic.

Colton Gillies of Saskatoon is already 6-4 200 plus.

He is likely a top 5 pick in 07.

I see him more as a playmaker than a true PF

Okposo comes to mind when it comes to the thread title tho

Remember that powerforward is not the same as a big player who uses his body to grind in the corners, protect the puck or take punishment in front of the net.

Joensuu really doesn't have the edge in his game to be considered a powerforward.

I've seen him use his size plenty in the WHL (which is a gigantice league for juniour) to create chances.

Reaves has the size and hitting ability, now needs the hands.
Dupont is a bit small but plays a bigger game.
Gillies has the size, will he develop the hands?
White has it all but the speed.
    Clutterbuck?
Dorsett's too small, but plays big!!

Sheppard has PF potential hes strong on the boards and down low with the puck but needs to add a nasty streak to be a true Power Forward.

That 2003 draft was so incredible that it causes some teams fans to forget who they drafted after the 1st round. ;)
