I've done about 1.5-1.6m so far. Hit 37 this morning and already 250k towards 38.

Heading out now to the grind spot on the water with 50+ pokestops and 5 gyms for a few hours. Probably do another 300-500k easy tonight.

Got my Farfetch'ed, but missed out on my first Suicune again.

Missed out on a perfect Suicune yesterday, first perfect I've had the ability to catch from any raid, let alone legendary. It figures I would get it in a raid where I was one of two mystic and the gym was valor controlled. Only 8 balls. I don't think I've ever had a legendary raid where it was skewed so much to another team, but I had a lucky egg about to expire and wanted that double xp.

How many have you caught total? I've caught 50 so far and nothing 82% or higher.

I've caught more Farfetch'd in one day then all the Tauros in a year+.

Best so far is a L30 14/14/13 91%. Looks like there are lots of 100%'s spawning around town.

I'm gonna be out of the country on vacation starting on the 7th, so I'm happy that I didn't completely miss the window.

Finished off the day with a 929CP Farfetch'd. Pretty close to max possible in the wild.

Just passed 2.1 mil into the level 40 grind thanks to this event. I guess I have to go out and try to get a Ho oh tomorrow now.

I ended up catching 60, think the 89% was the 57th or 58th.

0-2 on Ho-Oh.

2/2 on Ho-Oh, but average/below average ones (2162 and 2161). Caught a nearby 2708 CP Blissey with decent IVs (13/15/10) which was probably the best wild catch in awhile. Not so much with a Snorlax later.

Burned a $1 on a leek, but figured I had to get a photo with Farfetch'd. Also got a decent photo in AR mode with us fighting with the leeks a la FPS point of view. Didn't catch any great ones; Best was in the low 90s but was only ~150 CP.

Managed to get 3 Ho-oh raids on a single lucky egg today. 120,000 XP just from that. Straight up crack into my bloodstream.

I caught 2 out of 3, but highest only 2164.

I wonder what the plan is after the two weeks of Ho-Oh. Perhaps they'll release all the dogs (and maybe keep Ho-Oh) for the rest of the month like they did with the birds/Lugia.

I kinda wish they waited until after the last dog rotation to release Ho-Oh. Not much motivation for a lot of people to do Suicune, yet there are those last minute raiders popping up like the last two months trying to get one in the last few days. Everybody else wants to save their passes for Ho-Oh.

Just hit 39 this morning. When the event started I set 39 as my goal. Needed about 2.4 million. I came in hard with about 1 million in the past day and hit my goal with about 6 hours to spare.

Final stretch now.

I think after Ho-oh is gone they'll release Gen 3. I think it's very weird that Ho-oh ends in the middle of the month when all the other legendaries have been on a tight schedule.

They'll probably have all three beast available as a "last chance" kind of deal from 12/12-12/31, and then the Regi's will start cycling on New Year's Day.

Yeah, seems reasonable enough. Ho-oh ends what? 12/12? Then release Gen 3 on 12/14 or 12/15.

Friend was visiting and she doesn't have a raid group back home. Squeezed in four Ho-oh raids (she caught three, including a 2213) and finally got her a Lapras for her Pokedex.

Then we did a Magikarp nest the next morning, but no shiny for the group. An O Unown spawned near my office this morning. I managed to hit every green light and got there with a minute to spare.

No official announcement yet, but apparently Ho-oh will be extended past the 12th in part due to the glitching that some players had experienced. Not sure if that will have any bearing on when Gen3 gets released.
