Podcast: OHL announces exceptional player status for Sean Day

For the third consecutive year and the fourth time since the designation was instituted, the Ontario Hockey Federation has granted exceptional player status to a 15-year-old player. This time, that player is Sean Day of the Detroit Compuware organization.



With this status in hand, Day is now eligible to be drafted at the 2013 OHL Priority Selection that will take place on April 6th. The Ottawa 67's hold the first pick in the draft, but there is no indication yet whether they will use that pick to choose Day.
