Leetch should be in there.

LT was one of the best ever but I can not vote for him based on personal stuff.

Gehrig, Ruth, Mantle, Rivera, and Taylor are shoo-ins.

I also voted for Leetch, DiMaggio, and Jeter.

I waffled between Jeter and Lundqvist. I just don't think it's unfair to say that you need a championship in this company.

This poll is tough because there are so many top 20 hall of famers.

It was very tough. I voted for the 3 NYRs, Gehrig, Ruth, Seaver, Mantle, and Frazier. Frazier is additionally one of the best defensive guards of all time.

Some say Walt was the best Knick ever. Walt always says it was Willis. Willis always says it was Patrick.

With so many great HOF I could not vote for Mess because Mess played most his career outside of NY.

Yogi gets overlooked sometimes but he was amazing. Actually a bunch of Brooklyn Dodgers and Willie Mays could also be on the list.

I'd vote but...

Watching baseball is like watching paint dry.

Watching basketball is like watching a dull person watch paint dry.

Watching soccer is like watching the economics professor from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" watching a dull person watching paint dry.

Football is slightly more entertaining, but I still don't give a shit.

Seems to me that the poll asks about best NYC athletes…..not the best paint drying viewing experience. But hey…you went for humor….failed, but you went for it. Enlightening.
