I thibk Thomas sits out next year for Tony, unfortunately, just as he would if he signed in Europe or had a career-ending injury. But if he changes his mind before October 1st and suits up in the NHL, he'll be available.

he won't be available all season when he returns during the nhl season??

I believe in the past we've said that any player that returns by December 1st can be reinstated at whatever point that equates to in our HFNHL season of games played, but that if they don't play an NHL game by December 1st, they're lost for the season.
