Nah and Formenton is the deal breaker here. The kid's speed on the wing is a huge asset for the organization. Would take a serious over-payment to pry him out of Ottawa. Petan does interest me though.

Yeah, I saw Formenton in Owen Sound in the playoffs. He was so much better than everyone else on the ice. Petan will be gone I’m sure before the start of the next season. Seems to be in Maurice’s bad side and stacked behind Winnipeg’s depth. Dano is likely a casualty as well

The pick is 22 overall now with Pittsburgh losing.

What could Ottawa get for this pick straight up or to move up?

Ceci and 22 to Colorado for 16?

No, no it is not, any team taking that deal is sending back a bad contract
Sigh....The only problem we have with Ryan is his health,the guy hasnt played a full season since we traded for him...When he plays and is healthy he is a good top 6 winger...Why would we take on a worse contract when its looking more and more likely Ryan wont be able to stay healthy enough to finish his???
