Toronto doesnt take Mikkelson.

Especially with Setoguchi, Cogliano, LATENDRESSE....all available. We need scoring more than defense. And Mikkelson isnt even the best player available.

I'd take Latendresse in a heartbeat if he's available where we pick.

The Blues picking Stoa is a nice pick. Also, Stastny is good but he would look better in a Blues jersey.

No way does Boston pick Kindl. There's a lot better d prospects in the draft then him and I think Boston is going to pick a forward unless someone like Parent or Bourdon fall to 22.

Where do you folks come up with this stuff?

On every single thread that has suggested, hawk fans have come out and flatly said: the hawks will not take carey Price.

If you think the hawks will trade the pick, *fine*, say it. Or just make a list of who you feel is the top 30 prospects... whatever.

But saying the Hawks will choose price, is like saying that Pittsburgh may take Johnson.

Its not going to happen.

Good thing fans don't make draft picks.

This Preds fan is hoping you're placing your future goaltending hopes on Leighton or Andersson.

Yes, we need nothing short of Martin Brodeur to stop the force that is Denis Arkhipov...

We have 4 solid prospects in goal: Anderson, Leighton, CRAWFORD, (mike) Brodeur. Crawford is the future in net, currently. Tallon is high on him, Yawney is high on him, the whole organization is fine with the situation in goal.

Will Crawford be anything more than a servicable goalie? Don't know, only time will tell.

But even servicable goalies can go pretty far- look at Vokoun.

Way to rebut by taking shots at my team. Like I said...for ever Vokoun\Nabokov...there are tons more that never sniff the NHL. None of those that you've mentioned seem like a particularly safe pick...you don't really need a center or defenseman...why not take a top flight goalie prospect? You can't really deny that the difference between Price's upside...and the upside of Crawford is a pretty vast gulf.

Wow- and you can?

Tell me how many times have you seen Crawford play?

How many times have you seen Price play? More than Woodlief?

I freely admit I know nothing about Price- you however seem to know how high Crawford's ceiling is... wow.

I do know a little about the hawks, and short of not qualifying Crawford they are *not* taking a goalie with the #7 pick.

Wow as good as Price is, I'm surprised he isn't going top 3...
