In other Washington Redskins news, news is coming out that in 2013, some cheerleaders were told to serve as escorts and go topless on costa rica trip
There was that Fred Smoot incident on the boat where he had like a giant orgy with teammates and escorts. Maybe my memory is fuzzy.

Well I knew the answer was going to be "He's a Cowboy." but it's bull****.

Romo, Aikman, and now him.
I like Aikman. I love southern accents when I watch football, reminds me of my childhood.
Romo is excellent but I hate listening to him because his voice always shocks me with how high pitched it is lol

Detroit I agree with wholeheartedly but as a southerner youre dead wrong about Dallas/Texas. That's the mecca of football.

I agree that Texas is wild about football, but I don't believe America loves the Cowboys (making it America's team). It's a snazzy slogan they came up with is all. There's a bunch of Cowboys fans all over the country because they were really good when those people were growing up, just like a bunch of youngins are bleeding Pats fans now.

If anything, the Pats usurped them in every way.

When I refer to Dallas as America's team Im not saying they are some super organization.
Im saying that their popularity around the country runs deeper than any other team. Im comfortable saying that's a fact.

The Pats are more successful on the field yes but the way Cowboys fans go hard for their team despite choking for 20 straight years is indicative of their hallowed status.

Well that's what I'm saying: there's only fans around the country because they were really good for all those years. Now, I'd argue the Pats rival their popularity in numbers.

:skeptic: How old are you? Have you ever heard of Tom Landry? Roger Staubach?
Cowboys were the imminent entity in the NFL long before Aikman and Emmitt.

Look at this, im defending the ********* Cowboys in an Eagles thread

I don't think that's true, I think it's the Steelers

I'm so extremely disappointed that the Browns are on Hard Knocks.

What's the draw?
I'm pretty surprised they didn't go with San Fran.

Otherwise, I guess it's just for the Baker Mayfield aspect, and maybe they're thinking they can get some people to watch just to see the tire fire. It's probably better than the other possible options of Baltimore, San Diego, DC, and Denver, IMO.

Eagles signed Matt Jones

Ajayi, Sproles, Clement, Jones, Smallwood, Pumphrey, Adams... crowded backfield
We need to cut smallwood....hes a shitty person, had the mispleasure of knowing him (actually fought him in highschool and ko'd him.....true story) but i dont think he brings much to the table, hes not fast, hes not good at catching out of the backfield, doesn't read the plays fast enough, amd can't get to the holes quick enough to be successful in the league imo.
I doubt we bring all of these guys in, i think jones may start on the practice squad along with adams .....just my opinion
