Why would the Pens trade their number one scorer when were having trouble getting bottom six support?

This should probably be a value thread seeing as theres no proposal. Pens need a roster player for roster player type trade and they will certainly lose it. Keep Kessel hes great, find a new whipping boy.

The only situation that trading Kessel makes sense is if he has another dud of a playoff run and they move him for a LWer, that's about it. This is an off-season move if it even happens, there's no way they'd move him in season.
