As soon as you airlift me to Philadelphia.
Why can't we throw the shindig at the barn?
There's no room, there are ****ing chickens everywhere. And at least one ****ing snake, the ****.
We could just eat them all?
amish rumspringa party? lol i'll hitch up the team to the buggy and be there in a few weeks.
Bring Your Own Scrapple
I am way to lazy to go back and look , but when is it that we do our prospect rankings stuff.
A week or two after the draft I think. Let the dust settle and give everyone time to digest the new prospects. Then do the voting.
I'll start the polls In July, after development camp.
This is my initial list of prospects for this summer's polls. Let me know if there's anyone missing.
Removed from 2017's list
Amorosa, Terrance - Rights expire 8/15/18
Bardreau, Cole - Turns 25 on 7/22/18
Hagg, Robert - NHL regular
Leier, Taylor - NHL regular
Lindblom, Oskar - NHL regular
Marody, Cooper - Traded to Oilers
Patrick, Nolan - NHL regular
Salinitri, Anthony - Rights expire 6/1/18
Sanheim, Travis - NHL regular
Vecchione, Mike - Turned 25 on 2/25/18
It's impressive to see there is 20-21 legit prospects on that top list of guys still in the pipeline....and that does not include goalies or this coming draft when we could add 9 more guys to the pool.
Doesn't Drake's rights also expire 8/15, like Amorosa?
Has Morin had his ACL surgery yet? It's been a couple weeks now and I don't recall hearing anything. I know for mere mortal Canadians you wait your turn, but for a pro athlete is there any waiting time for swelling or anything before they go under the knife? I'd think they would want it done asap to start the recovery.
Only one that stands out for me would be Vecchione. Turns 25 yes, but only turned pro 2 years ago after having a successful college career, and prob is close to NHL ready. I haven’t done the math but he is prob mid teens prospect wise. He is what he is ceiling wise, but I think he deserves to be voted on. Maybe even Bardeau if we do a extend poll like last year.
I don't think it would hurt to have Vasiliev on there...just turned 24, had a breakout season with Cherepovets, Flyers still own his rights...
I don't mind putting Vasiliev back on the list for his final year of eligibility. I took him off last year because he was getting zero votes.
Vecchione is kind of a special case, but I think 25 is a good cutoff point for prospects. He's older than Ghost....
Drake will come off if he doesn't get an ELC before the polls start.
This was apparently made in February, but I hadn't seen it until just now. Wade highlights...
Feels like watching Simmer.
He might not participate at development camp later this month due to his leg injury.
I must be watching a different Wayne Simmonds.
in regards to Allison, SSS and all:
2017-18 Season = 1.36 ppg
NCHC translation factor = 0.439
theoretical NHL ppg = 0.59
48 points over 82 games in NHL if I'm doing all the math correctly.
Sucks he had to have the leg injury, hoping he can bounce back from that and have a good final year in college and sign with the Flyers. Here's hoping!
It's better that way. No reason for him to play in phantoms bottom6.
Well if you look at the injury time line he will probably just be getting back on ice so probably not doing to much at camp.
