LOKO FORWARD PAVEL KRASKOVSKY: “AMERICAN COACHES MADE ME DO SOMERSAULTSâ€

(...)

- This February you played for national Team Russia at Eurohockeytour. Russia brought a very experimental roster for those games. You must have been very impressed with your time there?

- The biggest impression was Team Russia itself. And it’s pretty hard to describe this feeling. I won’t be able to describe exactly how I felt at those Eurohockeytour games.

- Did you get a summer program from Loko coaching staff?

- There were two American coaches working with us, young players, in May in Yaroslavl. One of the coaches was from Dallas, Texas and the other was from Columbus, Ohio. With them we worked in the gym for five weeks and we only had on-ice practices for the last two weeks. They were the ones who gave us summer programs.

It's not really the most telling read, but it's something since we never hear much about him.

I found this:

http://thehockeywriters.com/winnipeg-jets-prospect-watch-pavel-kraskovsky/

"It remains to be seen whether this 18-year old Russian forward will bloom and become a player with the Winnipeg franchise, but if Kraskovsky continues to turn heads like he did in the 2014 Subway Super Series, Winnipeg fans could be in for a treat.

In six Super Series games this year Kraskovsky placed second in tournament scoring with 2 goals and an assist for three points total. However, all three points came in one game versus Team WHL in which fellow Jets prospects Josh Morrissey, Nic Petan, and Eric Comrie were a part of. He finished with 5 shots, 14 PIM, and was a +1 through the series."

Anyone with a list of the NHLeqs for Kraskovsky? I don't really have a sense of what's good production in the MHL for an 18 year old.

Sorry, feeling lazy today. ;)
