    A good offensive talent, but not top-notch. Definitely a by-product of Hawerchuk's immense talent. I think it's a testament to how good Hawerchuk was when you consider that he had all those big seasons in Winnipeg, playing with guys like Morris Lukowich, Dave Christian and Paul McLean.

    McLean also had amazing OT record. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I believe only Mario Lemieux has more career regular-season OT goals.

    I'd be curious to see someone (pnep?) put together a list of the leading goal scorers in the 1980s. I'd wager McLean is top-10, or if not very close.

    Lemieux isn't all that high from what I remember. Only a few years ago I believe Fedorov, Sundin, and Steve Thomas all shared the all time record around 12-13 OT goals. I believe Sundin may have pulled clear?
