What's not to like depends on who else sits. If we play Maroon, Zajac, Boyle, and Stafford or Hayes with Lovejoy we are old and slow. If this results in Boyle and Stafford sitting, I'll break out a beer for the deal.

They should send him down. He wont be able to hang in the playoffs if he cant hang now.

Devils got some added toughness along with some additional skill for next to nothing.

I was pretty worried when I saw a NCAA prospect was going along with the 3rd. Dudek is unlikely to play and NHL game so he was basically best scenario at that point.

I don't think a 6th was involved. If you read that from Gross' blog, I misread it too. He was saying Dudek was a 2014 6th rounder.
