I love Mikko and he totally could close the gap on Pasta before all is said n done

...but there is still a decisive gap at the moment

Pastrnak's play without Bergeron has helped show just how valuable he truly is.

Both are young players with a lot to grow, but currently Pastrnak has the edge.

How do you not pick a guy that has 77 points in 71 games when the other guy hasn't reached PPG+ in any of his 4 NHL seasons? HF loves offensive numbers don't it?

Rantanen AINEC.

Laughable.

What did Rantanen do last year in the league? Was he a PPG?

It's close.

He was a rookie. Pasta is the better player today but using what he did last season isn't a good comparison to what Pastrnak did last season.

It was laughable that he thought the comparison between the two players wasn’t close.

Pasta wasn’t a PPG type player till he got top line usage just like Mikko, trying to use Pasta’s first two years in the league is just as unfair as comparing their 2016 seasons.

Both are special players. I give a slight edge to Pasta but that’s about it.
