Does anyone know of a website that has all-time boxscores for every game?
I am looking for a game back in the 80's.... and the best I could find was a site that lists every team's boxscore's for each game dating back to 1995.... but thats as far back as I can find.

Any help would be appreciated... thanks!

I don't believe there is a site on the web with all the game summaries. There is a bunch of info here and their intent appears to eventually be the same as retrosheet (who have all the baseball boxscores).

If the library has the Hockey News archived over the years, they would have the game summaries while they were publishing them (which was up until a few years back).

www.flyershistory.net has every Flyers game of all-time.

Incredible resource! Here are a few interesting things I found (pertaining only to Montreal vs. Philadelphia games):

- March 4, 1978: Lafleur scores to make it 6-1 late in the second period, then assists on Shutt's 7-1 goal halfway through the third
- October 27, 1981: Lafleur assists on Shutt's goal to make it 6-0
- January 29, 1979: Lafleur scores two goals (including one midway through the third period) in a 7-3 win
- January 11, 1975: Lafleur scores 2 goals in a 6-0 blowout
- January 20, 1977: Lafleur gets 1 g, 1 a in a 6-2 game. Gets the assist on the 6-2 goal with 2:34 left in the game
- October 14, 1976: Lafleur scores 2 goals in a 7-1 blowout

I'm not saying this disproves the theory that Lafleur never played or scored in blowout games... but he didn't exactly get these points while sitting on the bench

Tabernacle, cripes sakes, ha ha. That Jeremy Roenick guy there? He's got a great idea there, head for the pub before the game is over. Scotty won't let a guy head off for a drink, he wants 'em out there dangling for assists against the 74 Caps.

I think I found something for the 70s.

If you click on the following link, it will take you to the year 1976 April 1.

http://www.ultimate70s.com/seventies_history/19760401/sports

Then you click on the game of your choice, and you get the game summary. If You click on any team's logos you will find all the games played by that team for the whole season. The drop down menu will let you change the year and so on.

Unfortuantely, I have not found anything like ultimate 60s or so.

I was looking for the same thing.

Check the sticky at the top of the page...

That Flyers site has boxscores for just about every game.

In Lafleur's only 4 goal game of his career, January 26, 1975, Bob Gainey assisted on 3 of the goals.

Ask yourself why Guy Lafleur in his rookie year had 3 hat tricks and never beat that stat again. Was Guy in 1977 not better than Guy in 1971,Guy in 1977 either had 1 hat trick or none

Awesome site. Apparently Danny Grant scored the first goal of my lifetime, assisted by Tom Reid, 3/26/74 (assuming both weekday games started between 7-8pm, the other game was in the Pacific time zone)
