The Florida Panthers and GM Brock Otten defeated the Atlanta Thrashers 2-1 in last nights action to give Otten the first HFNHL battle of 41 Marsdale Drive. Otten has been incredibly successful in his matchups against his fellow Brock University mates. He has beat Astles and the Sharks twice, and now Taucar and the Thrashers once. Could GM Otten be the Brock University HFNHL king?
In other news, rumours are swirling in the Sunshine state as the Panthers are apparently exploring some trade options. Apparently Otten is shopping Brian Willsie, Lyle Odelein, Brad Brown and several prospects. The Panthers are said to be on the search for a LW for the second line. Second leading scorer Mats Sundin is also still on the block, as it strongly believed that Otten intends to trade him before the deadline.
The Panthers get ready for a tough battle against the Boston Bruins tonight.
