Hoping for more robot v kaiju fights, less attempts at character development and plot.

Also, please give me an epic final battle and not one where the robots are at an extreme disadvantage and basically useless in a fight.

Seriously though, dramatic plot got in the way of what could have been my favourite movie of all time.

first movie is one of my favourite ever. I watch it at least every couple of weeks. so fun.

Well Charlie Hunnam isn't in this one, so there's a chance it might not be terrible. Definitely a step in the right direction from the god awful acting in the first movie. Hopefully the dialogue is better and they don't waste half of the movie with a weird comic relief bit again.

Seeing this shot in bright daylight highlights why the first one was always shot in the dark. Visually, this looks ridiculous.

Typical trailer giving too much away is typical.

I miss the color/tone from the first, but some of it is still there. Should still be a fun enjoyable action robot flick.

im still hoping for a Raleigh cameo. Boyega is a great choice though. hope his co-pilot is also a good character

Some foreign words sound inherently cool from a Western perspective, but something about the way that they call them "Kaiju"s and "Jager"s just sounds so fundamentally corny and stupid to me in this movie. Don't know what it is.

This series is for those who thought that the Power Rangers was too high-brow. Just a shame that it's wasting Charlie Day's time.

Cant say commercials are doing much to change my perception of film

First one was underwhelming and this one looks a bit more underwhelming to be honest (Some of the CGI looks poor)
