I don't know if we can count T.J Hensick in there but he was eligible last year and opted out. Jordan Lavallee is one who was passed over in '04.

From what I understand no, not really. I don't think he was projected to be drafted at all, and Orpik himself didn't expect it. I think he's one of those marginal players you see who play both forward and defense.
