He will slow down, he's just on a hot streak right now. I can envision somewhere around 25 goals for the season. In addition, sorry to be a downer but it's also unlikely that he replicates these numbers next season. 'Garbage goal' type grinders like Komarov rarely do, they usually have a good career year but then regress back to their career averages.

That said, I still think there's a place for him on the team in the future. Teams need sandpaper like him. I would say the the way the forward group is built right now is almost perfect, the only thing its lacking is the high-end talent which is coming down the pipeline soon.

I doubt it. I knew Leo definitely could score and even though this hot streak is awesome for him, it won't stay forever (even though I hope so every night). I think he'll slow down to get a solid 26 goals, close but no cigar.
Still a better sniper than Kessel :yo:

He'd have to score at a ~25 goal pace for the rest of the season to hit 30. I don't think that's possible. But he'll be close, somewhere in the 26-29 range.

In my books, every goal over 20 is just icing on the cake. I doubt Leo hits 30. But 25 seems like a reasonable assumption.

I'm hoping for over but the realist in me thinks exactly this. But while he may not score that often in the 2nd half of the season I'm expecting him to get assists on a better rate since his linemates are warming up.

Who could have ever thought that Komarov would score this many points before the start of the season. I hope someone necros the points predictions thread.

As long as he doesn't get injured I think he's got it.

Last season he was producing and playing like this until Ovie's cheapshot.

just to give you an idea of how he can fall off the rails offensively, he had 16 points at the end of november last year, and finished the year with 26 points.
