He should've been higher but he was committed to Michigan. I think that probably pushed him down a bit + he didn't really improve much in draft year from his D -1. I think he went in the right area of the draft. I still liked him a lot though.

You would think Philly would want to upgrade in goal if they’re looking to make a run. I don’t trust Hakstol and goalies. I always thought he was hella-overrated when he played. I only started to really notice him in the early-90’s. Still love marking out to that Pepe late regulation winner in game 5 in 95.
