Another top ten list, thie time purely focusing on a player's leadership abilities. A player's ability to lead by example, locker room status, and captaincy potential are all important factors. Seeing as we're not in the locker room, it will probably be based upon tangible leadership.

1. Erik Karlsson
2. Chris Phillips
3. Chris Neil
4. Kyle Turris
5. Curtis Lazar
6. Mark Stone
7. Marc Methot
8. Bobby Ryan
9. Clarke MacArthur
10. Troy Rutkowski

HM: Nick Paul, Colin White

This was one of the tougher lists for me to rank. I felt that the captains had to be the top 3, and Turris is definitely the next man up there, and Lazar could be the most team oriented man in hockey. From there, the only real "surprise" I put in is Rutkowski, who is a great and underrated leader. He was a captain of a Memorial Cup finalist and is a quintessential leader.

Any issues? Agree/Disagree? Debate and leave your own ranking!

If people want me to (stop), I can, but this has been a fun discussion on here for a few people.

I'd put MacArthur higher aka top 5 on the team. The guy is a true leader and he's been since he's come up Ottawa. Lazar and Stone are players that could be great leaders but need more time to develop. Personally players like Karlsson, Methot, MacArthur, Neil and Phillips are the ones I consider the leaders on the team now. But we've got lots of young guys to take on the roll for later

This one is really tough, I'm not even gonna attempt to put together a list. I think Boro needs to be there though.
