The last list we did was offensive defensemen, this time we'll talk about defensively skilled forwards. Factors should include their responsibilities, PK production, faceoffs, and anything else that you deem important. Just provide an explanation! Players can be pulled from anywhere in the organization, not just the current active roster.
1. Mika Zibanejad
2. Mark Stone
3. Kyle Turris
4. Zack Smith
5. Clarke MacArthur
6. Curtis Lazar
7. Colin White
8. Nick Paul
9. Jean-Gabriel Pageau
10. Filip Chlapik
Before everybody mentions it (because I know it's coming), I have Zibanejad over Stone because of the difference in defensive responsibility. Centres have so muvh more responsibility in their own end, they have to be the third defenseman in their own end, and Zibanejad is able to execute that. Stone is excellent (elite actually), but Zibanejad plays an actual 200ft game. The fact that I have Stone over every other C on the team speaks to how how immensely talented he is defensively.
