So golf courses in and around the Ottawa area are opening up now, but I'm not too sure how playable they all are. I went this past weekend, and because of the late snow thaw the course was still in rough condition, and some of the hazards were completely flooded.

The course I went to was Copperdale out in Dunrobin. Cheap and easy, usually a good way to start the season, but it was completely unplayable.

The Marshes in Kanata is in pretty rough shape as well.

Anyone been to any decent courses yet for this year?

I know Emerald Links Golf Club and Falconridge Golf Club are open, Emerald Links is on Mitch Owens, Greely, and Falconridge is across the road from the slots on Albion.

Metcalfe is in pretty good shape, some water on 4 of the fairways but all the rest are dry. Carts out, including beverage cart. Greens are good too

Anderson links is also very playable

I bet Nation is in pretty good shape. They have such a great drainage system for the course.

that course is always dry, built on 30 feet of sand.

Stonebridge has a pretty good spring deal going on til mid May and usually drains pretty well. Got a tee time for Sunday.

With this rain the courses will be horrendous.

Be in interested in hearing what shape Stonebridge is like on Sunday.
