Hey guys, I'm from Ottawa and a few buddies and I have started this created-player virtual league online called the International Pro Hockey League!
The premise is pretty simple:
Create a player following one of eight 'player types' (i.e. sniper, playmaker, enforcer, etc), have him play a year in a junior league, and get drafted to the pros.
However in this case, it will be other users, who are the General Managers of the pro teams, that will be drafting you!
If you're active enough, you could one day be offered a spot as a pro league GM!
It's pretty fun and you don't have to be too active, we're currently running at a clip of about one season every 2.5 weeks!
Season 1 only featured a junior league, as we wouldn't have any players to put in the Pro League.
The Season 1 CJHL playoffs are in full swing, and the junior league draft (which is what newcomers would be entered in) for season 2 is next Tuesday!
