If this was just a “trade”, then Ott looks bad. We all know that this trade goes beyond Hockey. I can’t say Hoffman himself is guilty but the fact that there is a restraining order out on his wife, plus other wives calling her out is pretty damaging.

Dorion tried to get out in front of it and apparently had lowered his demands before the news became public but didn’t pull the trigger on anything before it did.
