OT: Ottawa area FBV Sharpener?

Hey there,

New to Ottawa in July. I moved from down east and brought with me a few sets of steel sharpened by my preferred sharpener. I'm on my last steel and need to find a good FBV sharpener. I don't mind travelling but I need to find a good, consistent sharpener that is open year round (pending business going under...)

I had to get a pair cut on 1/2 hollow from Figure 8 as my friend was raving about their sharpening. I tried it and it isn't bad but it isn't FBV and I highly prefer FBV. Any suggestions on places in Ottawa that offer FBV sharpening that isn't one of those chain stores where you cannot get any form of consistency?

I believe Lightning Blade pro shops do FBV sharpenings. They're at both Sensplexes and Jim Durrell Arena. Not sure about the consistency that you're requesting though, haha.

The Lightning Blade place does it as well (as mentioned above), but only the owner/manager is capable, so he has to be working obviously.

The BK place does Flat Bottom V? I had a friend recommend that place to me earlier today and he said it was a fully automated system... wasn't sure that FBV has an automated system.
