What are your opinions on Mike Zigomanis' NHL future. I am asking out of curiousity because I have played shinny with him a few times recently and he seems to be extremely talented.

He is talented, but he has yet to prove he can produce at the NHL level. If he succeeds, there is no doubt he can be a third line center. Maybe a second line pivot, but I highly doubt a first. Right now though it looks like he's headed to be a fourth liner. :shakehead

I think he could be playing center for the Canes right now on the third line, but he would have to bump two of Staal, Cullen, Kevyn Adams and Marty Murray to do so. While I think the skill set is there I also don't think he'll get his chance with Carolina until either Rutherford has to offer a big raise to K Ads and declines to do so or Brindy hangs up his skates.
