His prestation on U18 was huge for the Slovak. Does he have a chance to be a first rounder. Many person compare him to guy like JP Dumont ( a snipper).
Not a 1st rounder but he could have moved up to mid-late 2nd round. He has excellent hockey sense and vision, and (as you can imagine) can bury the puck- every time he had a chance in Minsk he buried it- he gets his shot away accurately and quickly. But he's a bit slight in build and was helped by flashy linemate Zagropan (top 10 for 2005).
From what I've been told, TOMANEK has the skills but doesn't work up to his potential or take direction from coaches, most of the time. Any team that takes him in the second round is really taking a chance.
