Wow congrats USA ! You guys did great! However Canada is second in medals behind Norway even without curling medals. not bad for two nations with a combined population just over California's. Quite flattering that we are the yardstick some compare their results to!

Canada has done well at the Olympics, no doubt about that, but they have more hockey players and a lot more curlers, so population isn't really a factor there.

Does Vegas lose his rights when his contracts up SKA? He could come here with Rykov and Shesty

They lose them when he turns 27.

His KHL contract is up like a month before he turns 27. I don't know if its 27 when the season starts or 27 when the contract is signed. If its when the season begins, his contract ends at the same time as Shestyorkin and Rykov, and would be a free agent then.

I really hope this game doesn't go to a shootout. Partly because a shootout is a stupid way to decide a game, and partly because Germany would be f***ed.

Well f***, typed that too soon.

Shesty with gold, though he didn't play a minute. Feel bad for the Germans, they were a great story through the tournament
Btw: Kaprizov is a beast Minnesota has a future star

Shestyorkin's a Gold Medalist. Now just needs the World Championship in the next two years. Then in two years him and Hank can be the first two goalies to go into the Triple Gold Club. :thumbu:
