Just wondering...

In pool play, will there be OT? I seem to remember the last few Olympics where they play only 60 minutes and if they end in a tie in regulation, the game is ruled a tie. Traditional rules with records...W-L-T and 2 points for a win and 1 point for a tie? Thanks!

The Olympics are under IIHF rules and therefore the "pool play" or "round-robin" is only 60 minutes, no overtime and the games can end in a tie. The "traditional" way.

Thought it was going to be that way but I wasn't totally sure if the new NHL rules might creep into the Olympics and they'd have shootouts in the prelims. Thanks...

This is confusing... first Kulyash and Zhukov were going to be on the team... then Vishnevski replaced Zhukov... but now Zhukov is replacing Kulyash??

Why did Victor Ignatjevs reported get kicked off of the Latvian team?

Secondly, why don't any websites have these teams' jersey numbers?

Vishnevski replaced Zhitnik. Not sure who Zhukov is.

Don't exactly take the IIHF.com news as certain. There are loads of mistakes and haven't even covered all of the replacements.

Kulyash replaced Bykov.
Zhukov replaced Zhitnik.
Vishnevski replaced Kulyash.

another joke is that all group B teams (the winner as well) will have less hours to rest than the teams from group A (the fourth as well).

Will the best classified teams have at least the advantage of the last change?!?
