Oiler sell ECHL franchise to Mango Media Group

The Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) and Mango Media Group announced the sale of OEG's ECHL Membership in the Norfolk Admirals to Mango Media Group. Norfolk will remain the ECHL-affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club.

Not sure what this means for Norfolk fans since the new owners are from New York. Little gun shy after losing the AHL team to the LEFT coast AHL migration.

The ECHL announced on Friday that the League’s Board of Governors has approved the transfer of 100 percent interest in the Norfolk Admirals’ Membership from KG (U.S.) Oilers Corp. to Power Play, LLC.
