The Oil Kings scored 6 unanswered goal in the last 8:53 of the third period but it was one goal short as the Giants ho-ho-ho'd over the OKs 8-7. Tomas Soustal had a goal and 4 assists and Davis Koch (named third star) had 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the scoring. Trey-Fix Wolansky had a goal and an assist, with David Kope, Colton Kehler and Ty Gerla each notching a goal. Connor McDonald helped out with 3 assists and Ethan Cap got one. Boston Bilous made 8 saves on 11 shots before being pulled 13:08 into the first. Travis Child (L 4-6-1) finished up with 20 saves on 25 shots. Both teams had 36 shots on goal. Edmonton was 2/5 on the PP was only killed 2 of 6 on the PK. OKs won 31 of 68 FOs.

The Oil Kings (5-14-2) get mauled by the Cougars 5-1 last night. Trey Fix-Wolansky got the only goal for Edmonton, with Tomas Soustal and Connor McDonald getting the assists. Travis Child (L 4-8-1) made 35 saves in the loss. The OKs were outshot 40-26, were 28/62 in faceoffs, went 1/6 on the PP and were 4/5 in the PK.

Liam Keeler scored his first WHL goal but the Oil Kings (5-15-2) were gnawed on by the Cougars 4-3. Tomas Soustal and Colton Kehler got the other goals, while Davis Koch had 2 assists (and was named third star), with David Kope, Trey Fix-Wolansky, Connor McDonald and Ty Gerla getting singles. Boston Bilous (L 0-6-1) made 20 saves. Shots were 30-24 for the OKs. The team had a good special teams night, going 1/4 on the PP and killing all 5 PK chances against. Faceoffs were 27 for 62.

The Oil Kings (5-16-2) came up short in their bid to snap their losing streak as the Ice froze them out 4-3. Matthew Robertson, Liam Keeler (also named second star) and Davis Koch got Edmonton's goals while Try Fix-Wolansky (with 2), Tomas Soustal, David Kope, Colton Kehler and Ty Gerla had the assists. Travis Child (L 4-9-1) made 28 saves. Shots were 34-32 for the OKs. They won 34 of 65 faceoffs. PP was 0/2 but the PK was 2/2.

Travis Child (L 4-10-1) stopped 30 of 32 shots but the Oil Kings (5-17-2) couldn't find the net as they were clawed by the Winterhawks 3-0. Child was named second star for his efforts. Portland outshot Edmonton 33-22. The PP was 0/3 and the PK was 1/3. The OKs were 26/62 in faceoffs.

David Koch had 2 goals, including the Teddy Bear Toss goal, as the OKs (6-18-2) broke their 12 game losing streak putting the Raiders in a can 4-1. Kobe Mohr and Brett Kemp (GWG) had the other goals. David Kope had 2 assists with singles by Trey Fix-Wolansky, Connor McDonald, Ty Gerla and Carter Souch (with his first WHL point). Travis Child (W 5-11-1) made 31 saves. PA outshot the OKs 32-24. PP was 0/3 but the PK was 7/7. Faceoffs were 37/23 for Prince Albert. The three stars were 1-Davis Koch, 2-David Kope and 3-Carter Souch. 14,122 bears were collected for Santas Anonymous.

The Oil Kings (6-19-3) made a game of it with 2 goals in the third to send the game to OT but the Warriors laid siege on the realm of the OKs 4-3. Tomas Soustal (named first star) and Colton Kehler both had a goal and an assist with Brett Kemp adding a goal. Will Warm, Ethan Cap, Trey Fix-Wolansky and Ty Gerla added assists. Travis Child (OTL 5-11-2 and named third star) made 33 saves. Moose Jaw outshot Edmonton 37-34. PP was 1/3 and the PK was 2/3. OKs won 36 of 61 faceoffs.

The Oil Kings play their last 2 games before the Christmas break. Tonight, it's Tri-City making their first visit to Rogers Place. Former Oil King Patrick Dea makes his return as one of the Ams goalies. The game is at 7 PM.
