Production increased from 100,000 to 400,000 units per week for the iPhone X. They're still not going to meet demand for a while.

Same here, it’s going to be a debacle and a half.

Best bet is to order on Apple Store iOS app.
Historically I've had better luck using the carrier's website... A few times Verizon loaded 1-3 minutes early for me.

Starting to see carriers offer deals on the 8. I'd imagine there are huge deals for the 8 around Christmas.

So I have a question. I knew about the “parked car” feature in maps for awhile but a few weeks ago I went to weeding and we parked at the hotel we were staying at then hopped on a shuttle which drove us 45 minuets to the actual wedding but when I looked at the maps app my the “parked car” icon was still at the hotel. Any idea on how it knows I was on a shuttle and not in my truck?

I would guess because the bluetooth was connected to the car and then it wasn't. How does it know when I'm going home or to the gym and shit. Kinda freaks me out but it goes off patterns.

played around with a Galaxy S8+ that my uncle got this past weekend... damn, I wish Apple got their full size, bezel-less phone right and didn't have that ugly notch because the S8+ is absolutely beautiful and performs tremendously. The software seems a lot more cleaned up.

Put iOS and the App/iTunes Store on that phone and I’d be all over it. Awesome phone.

iOS 11 (.0 to .0.3) has been buggy as f*** for me. If I wasn't so locked into iMessages I'd probably sell my 7+ and go for a Pixel.

So agree. I'm waiting for the X and hope it's better. If it's not I'm going to raise all sorts of hell. A couple things are happening, aps seem to freeze and lock up more than ever. My brightness continues to auto adjust to a very low setting. My biggest complaint is sometimes when I make calls I can't hear anything so I have to reboot my phone for it to work.

Yeah, iOS 11 is still really bad and the battery drain is still very real on my 6s.

On another note, the iPhone X started popping up on carrier sites here in Canada. $800 (64 GB) and $1000 (256 GB) on a 2-year contract. What in the f***.

Good lord.

I'm so tempted by the X, but I just can't justify the absurd prices. I don't even know how much I can get for my 128gb 7+ right now, but it likely wouldn't even cover a 64gb X on contract. Plus I'm sure it'll be impossible to find one for a while anyway.

Here is where the cost gets justified. At AT&T here in the States, they're advertising $23/month for the 7 Plus, $26 for the 8 Plus, and $33 for the X. A lot of folks use the monthly... if you're about to spend $23 or $26 per month, why not spend $8 more a month for the X?

We don’t have that in Canada, unfortunately.
